giving thanks

Delicious aromas, groaning plates filled with thanksgiving foods.

The stories from long ago, remembering who we were long ago, laughing ’till  tears fill our eyes.

Wind rattling palm fronds as we stand on the deck watching the full moon rise over an ocean we can’t see, but smell the brine.

Three generations gathered for a picture, parents and children, husbands and wives, boyfriend and  girlfriend smiling, clowning, hugging~

  1. That certainly captures my Canadian Thanksgiving in October—plus we were most grateful that my Mom was here to celebrate with us. . .I’m so glad your Thanksgiving was such a beautiful one too, Annette!
