Little Tin God

One tin god stood on a hill,

surveying his kingdom of bloody mud,

slings and arrows he hurled,

in the name of righteousness~

his advisors whispered in his ear,

‘listen to reason’ they implored,

but the soldier was too far gone,

he must seek and destroy his own

to win the battle,

and ultimately lose the war.
