Christmas changes in its look and traditions are set aside as children outgrow Santa,
but there are still so many new traditions and memories to create.
My three are past the age of Santa, but watching them discover the pure joy of giving is special, too.
The carefully chosen gifts, whether purchased or homemade are treasured for the loving heart behind each.
They appreciate my own gestures of giving- favorite cookies baked and shared, delicious food, warm beds, a real tree filled with familiar ornaments, and precious stockings still hung by our chimney with loving care.
Their unique beauty as individuals with big, caring hearts is the greatest gift I can receive at Christmas.
