Hibernation

Climb into bed,
those freezing sheets,
shivering as I wait
for your warmth.

Toes mingle,
legs entwined-
like jasmine vines
along the fence.

Lips and breaths mingle,
arms hold me tight,
We’ve sparked a fire
within our warm cocoon.

Long winter nights,
hibernating under the full moon,
Oh, how much I love
to cuddle with you.
